Don't Pay for Extra-Credit - It is an Illegal Pupil Fee

In 2013, it was common for teachers to offer extra credit for non-curricular activities. Extra credit for donations of food for the poor, going to a football game, bringing in tissue boxes or paying fees for AP tests.

If you receive a communication from an educator, ask yourself if this activity relates to the course material of the class. If no, it's illegal.
